RECRUITING DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT

You must agree to the following statement before you may submit a resume, candidate profile, or other information using this recruiting web site. If you submit any data or information, you will be giving your permission for Targa Resources LLC and its Affiliates 1 (hereinafter referred to as “Targa”) to process, store, and transfer (to any country) your information, including all personal information, as set out below.

This statement relates only to information you submit to Targa in this (recruiting) section of its web site.

BACKGROUND

You must be at least 18 years of age to submit any information to Targa. 

Information collected by Targa is administered by Targa’s Human Resources Department.

Targa collects and saves in a database located in the United States all of the information, including personal information, you provide to it. It uses this information to identify candidates for positions at Targa. It may provide the information to its Affiliates in connection with possible opportunities at those Affiliates. It may also provide the information to federal, state, local or other government agencies that have jurisdiction over matters related to employment. Targa does not provide the information it collects to other third parties unless it is required to do so by a valid court order, governmental agency order or information request, or unless it has a legitimate business purpose for doing so and the third party agrees to similar restrictions on disclosure and use of the information. If Targa employs you within any of its affiliates, it will retain this information and may use it and disclose it to others for personnel, administrative or other purposes related to your employment with Targa.

Targa may collect and retain information on race, gender, ethnicity or other protected or special status. For example, in the United States applicable laws and regulations require Targa to request and save race, gender, and ethnicity information for future government reporting; however, such information is not reviewed in connection with consideration for employment. Targa also may collect such information for personnel and/or administrative uses. Where there are laws or regulations covering this type of information, Targa will collect, retain and use the information and data in full compliance with applicable laws.

If you are in or are submitting personal information from a jurisdiction outside of the United States, note in particular the waiver of rights provision below in the final section of this statement.

If you think the information Targa has about you as a result of its submission through this recruiting web site is either incorrect or out-of- date, please resubmit the updated information through Targa’s recruiting web site.

Targa is concerned about the security of personal information in its possession; therefore, it takes reasonable precautions to safeguard and secure the information it collects from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
